BehzadMehrafrooz

Behzad Mehrafrooz received the Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the K.N. Toosi University of technology (2010-2014). His BSc thesis concentrated on Dynamic simulation of planar and spatial manipulator via Open Dynamics engine.  Since September 2014 He is currently pursuing the MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of technology, Tehran, Iran. He is currently a full-time researcher at Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory of university of Tehran. His main research interests are related to kinematic and dynamics of robotic manipulators. He developed analytical models for real time inverse and forward dynamics analyze. On the simulation side, he worked on developing real-time Graphical User Interface (GUI) for kinematic and dynamic simulations. As a part of his project in TAAR Lab, he is developing a real time algorithm for dynamic modeling of fully-actuated and redundant serial and parallel manipulators in which Open Dynamics Engine and Matlab (more precisely, Open-DE and Matlab and SolidWorks) are linked.
