MostafaMahmoodi

Mostafa Mahmoodi received his Mechanical Engineering B.Sc. degree (GPA 17.7/20) from Qazvin Islamic Azad University (QIAU- 2005 to 2009). He is a founder of Vehicular Research Center at QIAU. He did his Bachelor thesis in the field of Smart Vehicles to implement in the Parax Electric Vehicle project. He was also attended in Parax Hybrid-Electric Vehicle project that started in 2009 at QIAU. Mostafa was involved in research in the robotics field in last year of his B.Sc. study at the Mechatronics Research Laboratory (MRL) as a head of control and mechanics group of Middle Size Soccer Robot division. After graduation, He started work at TAM Irankhodro company for a year. He has valuable experiences in design and implementation of advanced robotics and automated system due to work there. Currently, he is a M.Sc. student in Mechanical Eng.-Applied Design at QIAU. Mostafa has also been an active participant of IranOpen and RoboCup competitions since 2008.

His professional interests focus on Evolutionary-Based Optimization and Design Study, Motion Planning, Kinematics and Dynamics of Mobile, Serial and Parallel Robots, Computer Algebra Systems and Computational Advanced Programming, etc., and he has done several project related to these fields such as Parax EV, Parax HEV, MSL V01, MSL V02 as reflected in his CV, and he has also a two-year teaching experience on Robotics-Oriented, Applied Mathematics in Robotics and Modeling courses to graduate and undergraduate students in the MRL. His current projects in TaarLab include Motion Planning in Dynamic Environments. His main expert is Mechatronics Systems Design and Motion Planning, and he is fully expert in SolidWorks and CATIA. Now, Mostafa contributes in a projects related to design and development of a Legged Robot at MRL. Mostafa's hobbies and interests is Snowboarding, Traveling and cooking!

Mohammad Homayunpour Mohammad Homayunpour (Homayun) received his B.Eng in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer in Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran. His project entitled “Influence of Wake of first body on Behind Bodies” theoretically and numerically. Since September 2011 He is currently pursuing the MSc in Mechatronic Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran under supervision of Dr. M. Tale Masouleh. His BSc thesis concentrated on “Static and Dynamic Balancing of Parallel Mechanisms”. He is working on static balanced mechanism for variable weights too. His research interests are Robotics, Mechatronics, Haptic Devices, Biomechanical projects like rehabilitation and dental projects and any other feasible projects. His goal is using Haptics to manufacture “Dental Haptic Simulator” in a project supported by Ministry of Health and Medical Education. He is now working in Human- Robot Interaction Lab and enjoy its atmosphere and people. Homayun is interested in economical, industrial and manufacturing projects too and use his communication skill and creativity to propose new project and get fund for them.

 Fatemeh Jamali-TaarLab  Fatemeh Jamali was born in July 19th 1998 at Tehran, Iran. She is student at Farzanegan (Talented Students) high school in the mathematics field. She is preparing herself for the Physics Olympiad. Fatemeh has started working robotics 2 years ago. She participated in SharifCup2012 as her first competition at Sharif University of Technology with her teammates. She enjoys working on electronic and programming projects and admitted as a member of Junior Projects at TaarLab (Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory, University of Tehran). Her project at TaarLab is electronics design for a junior rescue robot in order to participate in IranOpen2014 (Iran RoboCup). Fatemeh's hobbies and interests include playing piano, painting and listening to traditional music.
Navid Kashi-TaarLab   Navid Kashi is a high school student at Allame Helli (Talented Students School). He has started working on robotic projects on 2009 when he was just 11 years old. He gained several honors from local and national competitions like 1St place in robotics and 1st place in physics in Khwarizmi national competition (the best known competition in Iran education ministry), 2nd place in technical challenge-SharifCup 2012 and etc. Navid has started working at TaarLab (a Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory, University of Tehran) since 2013. He plays a pioneer role in actuator driving and GUI (Graphical User Interface) projects under Linux OS beside master students and he made two patents from his projects. Now Navid is the head of junior robotic projects at TaarLab and he is preparing a Junior Rescue team in order to participate in IranOpen2014 (RoboCup). Navid enjoys design and implement electronic and programming projects. His favorite lessons are mathematics and physics. Navid loves Iranian folk-rock music.
Reihane Khalafrezaii Zare-TaarLab  Reihane Khalafrezaii Zare was born in Dezful, Khuzestan, Iran in 1st of April 1998. she loves physics and took place in physics Olympiad last year and got accepted in the first part. she also registers in chemistry Olympiad this year. She is currently studying in mathematics field in Farzanegan high school (Talented Students School). She enjoys working on mechanical design projects and admitted as a member of Junior Projects at TaarLab (Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory, University of Tehran). She is working with her teammates on designing a mobile robot for IranOpen2014 (Iran RoboCup) at TaarLab and she's in charge of mechanical design of the mobile robot. She wants to pursue her education in the field of mechanics. She is following football seriously and plays volleyball professionally. For 2 years she played in her province as Captain.
